4. Service providers and international processing
We use third-party services to operate our website and receive business correspondence.

5. How long we keep information
Business enquiries
We retain general business enquiry correspondence for 12 months after the last relevant correspondence. We may retain correspondence longer where reasonably necessary for an ongoing business relationship, contractual obligation, legal requirement or legal claim.
Data protection rights requests and privacy complaints
We retain relevant records for three years after the request or complaint has been closed or resolved. We may retain records longer where justified by a legal obligation or an ongoing legal claim. We limit retained information to what is necessary and remove records when the applicable retention period expires, subject to justified exceptions.
Website technical information
Cloudflare may process technical website request information according to its applicable service arrangements and retention practices. We do not currently retain separate website visitor analytics records.
Appearance preferences
A Light-mode preference is retained in browser session storage until you switch back to Dark mode or the browser tab session ends.
6. Cookies and browser storage
Our website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.
The website uses Dark mode by default and offers an optional Light mode. If you select Light mode, your browser uses session storage to remember this choice during the current tab session. Switching back to Dark mode removes the saved preference. Closing the browser tab also ends the session.
This storage is used solely to support your appearance preference. It is not used for tracking or advertising. We rely on the appearance exception under the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). You can object to this storage at any time by switching back to Dark mode.
7. Your data protection rights
Under UK data protection law, you may have the right to:
- Request access to personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of personal information.
- Request restriction of processing.
- Object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests.
- Request data portability where applicable.
These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions set out in law.
To exercise your rights, contact hello@sarakreations.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity where appropriate and will handle requests in accordance with applicable UK data protection law.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. These include secure HTTPS connections for our website and access controls for the services and accounts used to operate the website and receive business correspondence.
Email is not necessarily encrypted end to end. Please avoid sending highly sensitive information by ordinary email unless necessary.
9. Privacy complaints
If you have concerns about how we handle your personal information, please contact hello@sarakreations.co.uk. You may also write to our registered office.
